Outside Sales Representative / Pest Control

About the Role

Hughes Exterminators is looking to hire a highly motivated individual to fill a full-time Outside Sales Representative / Home Evaluator position. This role involves being out in the field, meeting new people, and exceeding sales goals. Our Outside Sales Representatives enjoy a company vehicle and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Wake up excited to meet new clients and work on prospective business deals every day
• Keep appointments as scheduled and perform prompt follow-up
• Network with potential residential customers and build strong rapport
• Survey, estimate, and counsel clients on their pest control options
• Perform home evaluations, which at times involve crawling into tight spaces such as attics and assessing damage
• Use sales skills to offer solutions, recommend appropriate services, and explain associated benefits honestly, clearly, and accurately
• Apply the trained sales process to achieve success in the position

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency required licensing/certification exams
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week
• Physical ability to be on your feet and maneuver in crawl spaces in various weather conditions
• Customer service experience
• Proven sales ability
• Basic math skills
