Outside Sales Representative - Home Improvement

Responsibilities

• Create and submit sales reports
• Build rapport and build relationships with existing and potential customers
• Travel to appointments and meetings with potential and existing customers within your territory
• Meet or exceed designated sales targets
• Create and implement an effective sales strategy
• Document all leads, sales, and customer interactions in customer relationship management (CRM) program
• Use best practices in negotiation and sales techniques to close sales

Qualifications

• A high school diploma/GED is required, a bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Previous experience in outside sales is required
• Excellent negotiation and customer service skills are essential
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary
• A positive attitude and ability to be persistent are important traits
