Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory sales plan
- Research leads, industries, and markets for potential product use
- Outbound phone calls to set up virtual, and in person visits with leads and customers
- Continuously pursue new business opportunities/quotes, and build a strong sales pipeline
- Develop a complete understanding of all products and services provided by Wieland Metal Services
- Partner with inside sales to provide accurate sales quotes for leads and key accounts
- Achieve agreed upon sales booking & billing targets for assigned accounts/territory
- Coincide with management, inside sales, operations, and supply chain on material needs and sales order fulfillment
- Effective use of CRM tools to keep track of customer relationships and provide detailed information regarding accounts
- Identify new and existing competitors and consistently monitor their activity
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field preferred, but not required
- 3-5 years of sales experience preferred, preferably in metal sales
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial metrics
- Strong customer service skills, including verbal and written communication
- Strong Computer skills, including Excel, ERP and CRM software
- Oracle and Salesforce preferred
