Job Description
We are seeking a driven, competitive, and relationship-focused Outside Sales Representative to help accelerate the growth of our insulation and building products distribution business. This is an opportunity for a proven sales professional who thrives on developing new business, managing a territory like their own business, and delivering results in a high-performance environment with uncapped earning potential.
- Serve as a trusted business partner to contractors, builders, and industry professionals while driving profitable sales growth and expanding market share throughout their territory.
- Develop new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
- Manage and grow an existing customer base while identifying opportunities to expand wallet share.
- Execute territory sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue and profitability goals.
- Promote our full portfolio of insulation and building products solutions.
- Deliver professional sales presentations, product demonstrations, and customer consultations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service and project execution.
- Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and activity information within company systems.
- Utilize strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills to win business and retain customers.
- Perform other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license required if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
- 3-5 years of successful outside sales experience with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Experience selling within the construction, building materials, industrial, commercial, contractor, distribution, or related B2B industries preferred.
- Experience developing new business and growing existing accounts, preferred.
- General contractor and building industry knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial insulation, building envelope, building materials, or building science is a plus.
- The ability to read and interpret construction drawings is preferred.

- Compensation Range $30,000.00 - $250,000.00
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
- Good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and physical strength.
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds may be required depending on specific job duties.
Travel Requirements
- Ability to effectively manage a sales territory with up to a 250-mile radius.
- Overnight travel as needed to support customer relationships and business development activities.
- Up to 35% travel.
