Position Responsibilities
- Develops new business relationships with potential & existing customers and meet KPIs regarding prospecting & closing deals.
- Understands customer business models and product needs.
- Crafts solutions for customers that meet and exceed their requirements.
- Possesses a strong understanding of customer business models and product needs.
- Works to expand sales with existing clients.
- Acts as a subject matter expert on all products lines.
- Provides reports on progress in territory and opportunities for growth.
- Responds to RFQ's as necessary.
- Works closely with other teams on larger projects to ensure deliverables are met.
- Pursues VMI opportunities.
- Notifies customers of signature brand products.
- Works with core supplier target account programs by scheduling sales calls and presentations.
- Maintains established margin objectives.
- Encourages customer website usage.
- Cross Border Travel Required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- CNC Machining experience, or Industrial distribution or supply chain experience.
- Outside Sales experience is required.
- Must be age 21+ in order to drive a company vehicle.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Demonstrated experience managing and growing sales territory.
- Ability to quickly build relationships with key decision makers in client organizations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-directed and possesses a high level of productivity and personal organization.
- Plans and organizes tasks & work responsibilities to achieve goals and objectives while remaining calm & professional under pressure.
- Proficient use of a Windows computer, Microsoft Office & Teams.
