About the role
Our client is a growing electrical supply company specializing in electrical wire, cable, and related products throughout the Pacific Northwest. They are expanding their sales team and seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to develop new business and build long-term relationships in Oregon and Washington.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth throughout Oregon and Washington by developing new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts
- Possess proven ability to generate new business and build long-term customer relationships
- Conduct on-site customer visits, sales calls, product presentations, and business meetings
- Prepare competitive quotes based on customer needs and current market pricing
- Stay informed on industry trends, products, and market conditions within the electrical supply industry
- Manage your sales territory independently while providing exceptional customer service and follow-up
- Represent the company professionally while identifying opportunities for continued business growth
Requirements
- 3+ years of outside sales experience within electrical supply, industrial products, construction materials, or a related industry
- Proven ability to generate new business and build long-term customer relationships
- Strong negotiation, communication, and closing skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a regional territory
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Oregon and Washington
Qualifications
- Knowledge of residential and commercial electrical products is highly preferred
