Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential business opportunities through prospecting and strategic analysis.
- Cold outreach via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Pipeline management and conducting regular touch points to keep relevant to potential clients.
- Create and cultivate long-term relationships with plumbers, dispatchers, and service managers who can refer customers experiencing water damage, fire damage, mold issues, or biohazard situations.
- Actively network with partners, potential partners, and industry professionals through networking groups, trade shows, industry associations, chamber meetings, lunches and happy hours, and any other relevant channels.
- Host and present at industry-related events to expand brand presence.
- Create and scale referral networks for the company.
- Identify channels and verticals to help further expand business opportunities.
- Keep contacts, notes, and referrals updated for consistent follow-up.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in sales, about 3 years of experience minimum.
- Prior proven experience selling to relevant target markets such as commercial, residential, and/or multifamily property management.
- Prior experience in a new business acquisition role, and able to prospect for leads personally.
- Prior experience in relationship-based selling and long sales cycles.
- Thrives on face-to-face interactions, enjoys walking into shops and job sites, and knows how to build trust.
- Self-disciplined and can comfortably build and manage your own pipeline.
Compensation
- Salary: Starting around 70k base, negotiable with experience.
- Commission opportunity, further broken down in interview process.
