Outside Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Provide solutions to homeowners in their time of need by quickly building trust, showing empathy, and explaining Dry Force’s capabilities.
• Evaluate nature of loss and prepare proposed job scope using moisture meters and other company-provided technology.
• Prepare proposed engagement for homeowner, secure work authorization, and coach homeowner through payment options (including Dry Force’s experience working with all major carriers) while onsite.
• Stabilize moisture content of affected areas by beginning the drying process and setting homeowner expectations for subsequent work.
• Communicate job status with customers, company management, and insurance carriers.
• Process all documentation and ensure it is completed in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• You are highly motivated, have a strong work ethic and enjoy the selling process (with 3+ years of outside selling experience).
• You are able to build rapport easily and establish trust, leading to lasting customer relationships.
• You have strong communications skills – interpersonal, written, presenting.
• You can effectively present information to customers one-on-one and in small groups.
• You should be comfortable working outside and in confined spaces like crawl spaces and attics.
• You should be comfortable working with computers, mobile devices (i.e. tablets) and documenting details of a job using electronic devices.
• You have a valid driver’s license and successfully clear a background/drug test.
• You must be able to work overtime as needed, some holidays, and weather-related surge events.
