Responsibilities

  • Building relationships with new and existing customers throughout your territory.
  • Prospecting, networking, and uncovering new business opportunities.
  • Meting with restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, hotels, government agencies, and other foodservice operators to understand their needs.
  • Recommending equipment and solutions that genuinely help your customers succeed.
  • Preparing proposals and following projects from the initial conversation through the sale.
  • Partnering with our customer support teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Managing your pipeline and staying on top of opportunities using our CRM.
  • Consistently working toward—and exceeding—your sales goals.

Requirements

  • Naturally driven and enjoys the challenge of earning new business.
  • A strong communicator who builds trust quickly.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable managing their own schedule.
  • Organized, dependable, and follows through on commitments.
  • Excited to be out meeting customers instead of sitting behind a desk all day.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar sales role preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
