Responsibilities
- Makes a significant positive impact on sales and improving the consumer buying experience
- Maintains a comprehensive working knowledge of all client products & services (subject matter expert)
- To educate in-store personnel through effective sales training including demonstrations, role play and side-by-side selling
- Builds strong professional relationships with all in-store personnel and client vendors/partners
- Expands brand presence through effective and creative merchandising, maintains brand image and planogram compliance at defined locations
- Identifies sales barriers/challenges – problem solves at store level and escalates unresolved issues through proper channels
- Gathers and reports on competitive intelligence including, but not limited to: sales tactics, price moves, promotions, new products, merchandising materials, compensation and store support
- Sells-in additional brands at existing locations and grows distribution through new business development
- Completes call reports, administrative tasks, and ongoing personal training accurately and in a timely manner, meeting all deadlines
- Completes other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent/GED
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Related work experience may be substituted for some educational requirements
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills – effective in one-on-one and group settings
- Works well independently as a motivated, energetic and enthusiastic team player
- Persuasive, outgoing, friendly, confident – relationship builder
- Meticulous attentional to detail and follow up
- Conducts business with integrity and maintains strong business ethics
- Ability to travel within defined territory
- Physical Abilities: Seeing, Ability to Travel, Color Perception, Listening
