Outside Sales Responsibilities

• Aid in establishing new business opportunities
• Distribute qualified prospects to the sales team
• Participate in planning the marketing focus, executing the strategy, and documenting results
• Maintain records of all interactions with qualified prospects and communicate to the sales team
• Solve problems as they arise
• Collaborate with the Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales teams
• Assist engineers in design, prototyping, assembly, and fabrication of new and existing products
• Visit farm sites to inspect customer equipment and establish repair plans
• Occasionally perform repairs on customer equipment at job sites
• Expand territory to Montana and part of western North Dakota
• Work remotely with training in Fargo for 6-12 months

Outside Sales Qualifications

• Effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate positively about the company to prospective clients
• Build strong, influential relationships, maintain confidentiality, and exhibit professional composure
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective time management skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Quickly adapt to change and work with diverse customers
• Experience and technical knowledge of equipment
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record
• Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering documents and drawings
• Comfortable using a computer for various tasks
• Physical strength, agility, and dexterity, able to lift at least 40 lbs
• Strong work ethic, integrity, moral character, and initiative
• Farming or mechanical background and/or experience in the farming industry

Pay Range

The pay range for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 USD per year (Remote (Montana, US)).
