Outside Sales Development

Pay: $27-$29/hr depending on experience plus monthly bonus pay for meeting goals. Location: Charleston, WV (must be within 60 minutes of location).

About the role

We are seeking an Outside Sales Development professional to join our Outside Sales team. In this field-based sales role, you will drive new business acquisition across assigned territories and support the overall growth strategy of a restaurant delivery service.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout assigned emerging market territories to identify and secure new restaurant partnerships
• Sell the value of partnering with the delivery service to restaurant owners and negotiate revenue share agreements
• Manage a high-volume, fast-moving sales cycle and close new business within days
• Collaborate closely with a Regional Sales Manager and utilize provided sales tools including sales sheets, business cards, gift cards, and market resources
• Maintain consistent field activity, primarily conducting face-to-face meetings with prospective partners
• Support company expansion into rural and underserved markets across the territory
• Ensure compliance with travel and reporting expectations throughout assigned regions

Requirements

• 2+ years of successful sales experience in a closing role or related field
• Experience selling to small and medium-sized businesses, preferably restaurants or food and beverage clients
• Strong ability to travel at least 50 percent of the time for in-person sales meetings
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and daily travel within assigned territory (travel reimbursement provided)
• Proven success in inside and outside sales strategies to meet and exceed targets
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build scalable sales approaches and playbooks
• Comfortable working in a transactional, high-velocity sales environment
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
