Position Summary
Drive the sale of fluid power products and services to existing and new customers. Work requires substantial product knowledge in hydraulic, pneumatic and electro-mechanical components and systems. Design and recommend power units, troubleshoot customers problems, and recommend solutions.
Essential Functions
- Review sales and current market information to determine the sales potential of customers.
- Recommends products to customers, based upon customer's needs and business interests.
- Contact current and prospective customers to grow business relationships and the Hydradyne brand.
- Prepares drawings, estimates, and bids to meet specific needs of customers.
- Meet with customers to demonstrate and explain features and benefits of products and services.
- Obtain credit information on prospective customers.
- Answer questions about products, prices, and quality, durability and credit terms.
- Prepare lists of prospective customers, call reports, and other reports as required.
- Closes sale contracts or forms to record sales information.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints.
- Oversees delivery or installation of products to equipment.

Education: High School Graduate or equivalent/advanced hydraulic degree and/or hands on experience in a hydraulics or related field.
Experience: Three years hydraulic sales experience or equivalent
