Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining and driving MRO sales for an established portfolio of hospitality accounts.
  • Consistently travel in the territory to visit customers, covering areas like Montara, Santa Cruz, Carmel, and Salinas.
  • Manage sales volume with existing customers and actively seek out new prospects.
  • Develop and implement plans to expand business presence in the assigned area.
  • Share market insights and competitor information with relevant channels throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with leadership to analyze market trends and customer needs, providing input for sales strategies.
  • Attend monthly business meetings for company-sponsored associations, engage in local trade shows, and represent the organization in regional or national activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct sales experience to hospitality customers.
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience.
  • Passion for customer service.
  • Organizational skills and tech-savvy.
  • CRM experience, particularly with Salesforce.
  • Knowledge in facilities products such as hardware, electrical, lighting, plumbing, janitorial, and HVAC product lines.
  • Experience with consultative and solution selling.
  • Able to develop call plans and proactively develop new business.
  • Able to learn new techniques and be open to new ideas.
  • Must reside within the territory.
  • Bilingual is a plus.

Job Summary

Drive profitable sales growth by prospecting new accounts, retaining existing accounts, and expanding opportunities with current customers in core and emerging industries and markets to meet yearly sales goals. This position requires operation of a Personal Vehicle, which is used more than 20% of the average work week. An MVR report must be acceptable as a requirement of this position.

Nature and Scope

Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data. Receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process. May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support or professional personnel.

Education And Experience

  • Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline.
  • Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certification is required in some areas.

Pay Range

$64,200.00 - $93,200.00 Annual HDS provides the following benefits to all permanent full-time associates:
