Outside Sales Account Executive
About the role
As a B2B Outside Sales Representative on the Genius® team, you will help businesses grow by transforming how they accept and manage payments. You will drive new business growth, shape client success, and own outcomes that increase revenue, improve operations, and create long-term value.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business growth by creating opportunities through field outreach, digital engagement, and local networking
- Own the full sales cycle, turning conversations into revenue and delivering consistent results in your territory
- Build trusted relationships with business owners, positioning yourself as a go-to advisor who understands their goals
- Deliver compelling, value-driven presentations that show how Genius® improves operations, increases loyalty, and fuels growth
- Expand Global Payments’ impact by introducing innovative solutions that help businesses operate smarter and grow faster
- Identify opportunities to expand solutions and deepen relationships with existing clients
- Spend up to 75% of your time in the field, creating meaningful, face-to-face connections that drive results
Requirements
- At least one year of success in B2B or business-to-consumer (B2C) outside sales, with a track record of delivering results
- Strong ability to communicate, present, and negotiate, both in person and virtually
- Confidence building relationships quickly and earning trust with business owners
- A competitive, self-driven mindset with the energy to achieve and exceed goals
- Ability to think like a client and connect solutions to real business outcomes
- Valid driver’s license and comfort spending up to 75% of your time in the field
- Residence within two hours of the territory to stay connected and responsive
Qualifications
- A proven ability to upsell and cross-sell existing merchants on new features, software add-ons, and hardware upgrades
- Experience working with the restaurant or retail industries is a plus
- Two full years of B2B Outside Sales experience, preferably in fintech, merchant services or SaaS
Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Knowledge of B2B sales techniques and strategies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
Base Salary: $50,000 per year
Residual Income: Keep earning monthly from the accounts you build.
Annual On-Target Earnings (OTE): $90k-150k
Your total compensation will depend on your skills, performance, and territory.
Schedule
Spend up to 75% of your time in the field, creating meaningful, face-to-face connections that drive results.
