Job Responsibilities
- Guidestrucks into unloading positions.
- Operates forklift to transport samples to ODA grading area.
- Maintainsevenflowlevels.
- Flumesraw product intoevenflowsby using the HMI program.
- CompletesCL’s, CIL’s, and FSIL’s for your respective work area.
- Entersindefects found in your respective work area.
- Unloadsstrucks, takesamplesandoperatereceiving equipment.
- Accurately completes forms asrequired.
- Accurately collects and labels raw product samples.
- Completes daily sanitation duties.
- Maintainsa clean receiving area, which will include shoveling, use of high-pressure water hoses, and dumping of raw waste totes.
- Inspectsrawproductfor foreign material.
- Monitorswaste pit water level,waste room hopper levels, andwater usage in Receiving.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education/ Certifications: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Lock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certification are required. If you are not qualified, you will be trained and must meet certification requirements.
- Skills and Experience: Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English, both written and oral. Must be able to be qualified within time frames established by facility. Must be able to perform basic mathfunctions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently. Exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature. Exposure to manufacturing environments for up to 8 hours per work day to include: loud noise, excessive heat, cold, wet, slippery conditions, dirt, fumes, smoke, smells and allergies. Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties. Ability to operate work related equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Valid Driver’s License and driving record that meets Lamb Weston Driving Standards. Exposed to temperatures ranging from -20 degrees below zero to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Freezer Operation and 37 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Plant Operation. May have to sample food while evaluating Lamb Weston products. Climbing to various heights via stairs or ladders on a regular basis.
