Operator Trainee

Position Summary Bedrock Energy is hiring a Trainee to support field operations while developing into a full equipment operator role. This is an entry level field position intended for individuals with strong work ethic, reliability, and learning potential. Trainees are placed on experienced crews for training and validation and are expected to build competency in safety, equipment familiarity, task execution, and field discipline before progressing to Ground Operator. This is a hitch-based role. Crew work rotations at project sites across the US. Bedrock covers travel to and from site, lodging during your hitch, and provides a per diem for meals. Key Responsibilities Support general field operations and labor tasks under supervisionLearn Bedrock's safety expectations, SOPs, and crew operating standardsAssist in other normal geothermal drilling operations tasks as required; rig-up, staging, cleanup, material handling, and general task supportObserve experienced operators and progressively participate in field tasksFollow direction from the Ground Operator, Mud Operator, and DrillerIdentify and communicate abnormal conditions on the jobsiteBuild familiarity with Bedrock equipment, tools, and field workflowsDevelop toward promotion through field validation and competency sign off Preferred Background 0-1 years of experienceMechanical, construction, or field based work experiencePrior exposure to equipment, labor intensive work, or outdoor operations preferredForklift experience Minimum Qualifications Strong work ethic and reliabilityDemonstrated ability to learn quicklyFollows direction and safety expectationsPositive attitude in team environmentsComfortable with physical work, travel, and outdoor conditions We are committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
