Essential Duties
- Visit assigned customers.
- Possess prospecting skills for new customers.
- Communicate parts orders to inside salespeople or handle the order onsite through use of a mobile device or laptop.
- Review any special deal orders with the parts manager and obtain his/her approval.
- Obtain parts manager's approval for any special pricing.
- Advises inside salespeople on delivery instructions.
- Follows up on parts orders to ensure that customers have been served properly.
- Collaborates service sales with service salespeople.
- Turns in completed call reports, time sheets, and expense reports.
- Updates customer records to reflect changes to customers' names, addresses, etc.
- Adds new customers to appropriate mailing lists.
- Attends training seminars when required.
- Acts as a public relations liaison for the dealership.
- Maintains professional appearance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One to three months related experience and/or training.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- MS Office (Word and Excel) skills are highly recommended.
- Ability to be trained on business software products which are an essential tool in this position.
- Language Skills:
- Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Write simple reports and correspondence.
- Present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Write routine reports and correspondence.
- Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Reasoning Abilities:
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Physical Demands:
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying parts up to 80 lbs.
- Climbing on and off forklift using three points of contact.
- Climbing up and down ladders to reach parts on high shelving.
- Stooping to get parts on low shelving.
Qualifications
- Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- One to three months related experience and/or training.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Total Compensation Package
Total Compensation Package: $50,000–$85,000 per year, including base salary and bonuses, based on experience.
