About the role

Value Added Distributors, LLC is hiring a full-time, high-impact sales role built for performance-driven professionals in Northwest Wisconsin and Northeast and Central Minnesota.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage your territory
  • Possess strategic outreach and on-site visit skills
  • Present tailored solutions to uncover needs and convert opportunities into revenue
  • Negotiate deals and strengthen relationships with engineering, purchasing, and operational teams
  • Collaborate with internal teams to track performance and adapt to market changes
  • Aim for $1.5M–$3M in new revenue within your first two years

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean record
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales/Marketing or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience (industrial/manufacturing preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Outlook, Excel, & PowerPoint (SharePoint, Teams), and sales enablement tools
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand market dynamics, customer needs, and company strategy
  • Ability to build strong relationships with engineering, purchasing, and operational teams
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills
  • Experience with ERP systems; Epicor experience a plus
  • Adaptable and willing to mentor others
  • Adherence to safety standards and company policies
  • Willingness to wear PPE when needed
  • Ability to travel extensively (~80%) and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Experience in OEM hose, hydraulics, or related industries
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • A commitment to continuous development

Pay

Schedule

This is a full-time Monday–Friday position, 8 AM–4 PM, with customer-driven hours and approximately 80% travel.
