Outside Golf Operations (Part Time)

About the Role

The Part-Time Outside Golf Operations role will be responsible for the proactive maintenance and operations of the driving range, short game training area, and storage areas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily setup and opening of the range, as well as the closing and securing of training facilities at the end of the day
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of all equipment to ensure optimal functionality
• Manage the clearing of the range, including the collection of golf balls
• Treat all students, guests, and staff with exceptional guest services
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethic codes
• Other duties as assigned, including staff training

Requirements

• High School degree or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of golf course procedures
• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• Present a positive, professional image
• Self-motivated and customer service oriented
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Reliable and predictable attendance
• Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
• Requires a background check and drug test upon offer

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40 lbs.
• Must be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time
• Must be able to move around campus, which includes gym, turf, fields, stairs, etc.
• This role is considered essential and may be required to work during weather emergencies or business closures to meet operational requirements
