About the role

The DH Pace Company is a leading distributor, installer, maintainer, and repairer of commercial, industrial, and residential door, docking, and security products. Founded in 1926, the company has grown to over 60 offices nationwide and is celebrating its centennial in 2026. Seeking skilled Outside Commercial Sales Representatives in St. Louis, Missouri.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and developing strategic security solutions.
  • Hunt new business by identifying and qualifying leads, generating fresh opportunities, and converting competitor accounts into loyal DH Pace customers.
  • Master the sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing, showcasing expertise at every step.
  • Design solutions that impress by translating client needs into effective estimates and proposals, ensuring smooth project execution and exceeding expectations.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients, fostering strong relationships through clear and concise communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (any field) is highly preferred, but not required.
  • All applicants must possess a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

  • Self-directed and experienced in cultivating both new customer opportunities and strengthening existing commercial relationships.
  • Knowledge of security systems and industry trends is a plus, but a passion for learning will take you far.
  • Able to collaborate effectively, contribute creatively, and inspire others with enthusiasm.
