Outreach Specialist

Required Qualifications

• Active, current TS/SCI with polygraph
• Minimum of 12 years relevant experience with BS/BA
• Demonstrated experience successfully working across organizational silos to support whole-of-government activities
• Experience planning, designing, developing, coordinating, and/or executing exercise events with a wide variety of audiences and ensuring results are reported in a timely manner
• Ability to confidently maintain oversight of community-wide exercise planning, delivery, and intended outcomes, and make exercise adjustment recommendations driven by mission, policy, or other business changes
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Desired Qualifications

• Possess a background supporting national security objectives in an operational or analytical role
• Experience leading teams by participating in hiring and onboarding, driving individual and team performance, supporting growth and development, etc.

About the role

Peraton is seeking an experienced Outreach Specialist to support our customer onsite in McLean, Va. The role involves collaborating with federal, state, local, and other governmental partners to strengthen national security and homeland defense. The ideal candidate will have experience directly supporting the Intelligence Community and will oversee community-wide workshops, exercises, and simulations designed to enhance information collection capabilities, close knowledge gaps, and prepare all partners to respond to operational events. The position requires overseeing the planning, design, execution, and reporting of these events, while maintaining oversight of the entire process and making adjustments based on mission, policy, or other business changes.
