About the role
The Outreach Prevention Facilitator plays a crucial role in promoting and implementing effective health and safety initiatives for our community. They use various methods to create effective campaigns, including facilitating presentations, providing resources to the public, and conducting data-driven research.
Responsibilities
- Develops, implements, and manages evidenced-based programs that effectively prevent alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use.
- Serves as a resource to parents and district, school sites, and community agency staff related to county prevention intervention resources.
- Extensive travel is required.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field.
- Prior substance abuse experience or behavioral health experience preferred.
Qualifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Driver's License.
