About the role

The Urgent Care Center Registration Specialist greets patients, collects financial and insurance information, verifies authorizations, handles payments, schedules appointments, and serves as a liaison between the facility, physicians, insurers, and other agencies while maintaining confidentiality and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and conducts daily interactions demonstrating a positive organizational attitude that models the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
• Professionally interviews patients to obtain complete and accurate financial and insurance information.
• Verifies required authorizations as needed.
• Professionally answers the telephone and routes calls to the appropriate party.
