Responsibilities
- Reviews and verifies prescriptions
- Conducts clinical reviews
- Completes patient counseling
- Administers vaccinations
- Serves as a drug information resource to patients, medical staff, nursing staff, and ancillary department personnel
- Dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals
- Supervises and directs pharmacy technicians, interns, and support personnel
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Pharmacist in good standing in the State of Ohio
- Graduated from an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree or Bachelor of Science degree of equivalent
- Current BLS certification
- Current immunization provider certification
Schedule
Full‑time position (80 hours per pay period). Pharmacists staff 1 out of every 4 weekends. The pharmacy is closed on major holidays.
