About the Role
The Outpatient Receptionist role creates a positive first impression for guests and visitors. It helps daily operations run smoothly by handling calls, directing people, and managing basic office tasks. The position also supports safety by controlling access to the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist visitors, creating a positive first impression
- Manage incoming calls and provide basic information
- Direct visitors and communications to the appropriate staff
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked reception area
- Support office operations, including mail handling, clerical tasks, and security procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent GED (Associate's degree preferred)
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative support role is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Project and present a professional image on behalf of the organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and office equipment
