Outpatient Psychiatrist - Adult/Child/Adolescent - All Locations

About the role

This position can be based out of any Compass Health Network location. We're seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to join our mission-driven team serving rural Missouri communities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans
• Provide ongoing psychiatric treatment and medication management
• Offer expert consultation and recommendations to the care team
• Oversee psychiatric treatment for individuals in rehabilitation services
• Document care in alignment with clinical and compliance standards

Requirements, Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

• Doctorate degree from an approved accredited medical school required
• Completion of an accredited residency program in psychiatry leading to Board eligibility required
• Missouri licensure

Qualification(s)

• Experience with community mental health, outpatient setting/inpatient setting with serious and persistent mentally ill adult and/or child, adolescent population; co-occurring population (SMI and substance abuse) preferred
• Basic computer skills along with transcription experience and use of e prescribe preferred
