Responsibilities

• Presents a friendly, professional demeanor and maintains a positive attitude towards patients and colleagues.
• Provides accurate and timely information to patients and customers, addressing their questions and concerns promptly.
• Maintains primary responsibility over patient plans of care, collaborating with other therapists and clinicians to ensure safe and effective treatment outcomes.
• Participates in committees and departmental processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develops and maintains professional relationships with healthcare team members, including physicians, nurses, and case managers.
• Contributes to educational efforts within the department, such as in-services and journal clubs.
• Completes non-patient care responsibilities within established timelines, including coverage notes, PTO requests, and bonus pay forms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Illinois.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• Masters or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy preferred.
