Responsibilities

- Maintains primary responsibility over patient plans of care, collaborating with other therapists and clinicians to ensure safe and effective treatment outcomes.
- Participates in committees and departmental processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develops and maintains professional relationships with healthcare team members, including physicians, nurses, and case managers.
- Contributes to educational efforts within the department, such as in-services and journal clubs.
- Completes non-patient care responsibilities within established timelines, including coverage notes, PTO requests, and bonus pay forms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Illinois.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Masters or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy preferred.
