Outpatient Pharmacy Technician I - Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacists as directed including filling orders and preparing labels.
• Affords assistance to patients, gathering necessary prescription information.
• Operates cash register.
• Delivers medications as needed.
• Sends and receives orders from suppliers.
• Enters and/or retrieves data from established computer files using knowledge of various computer software applications.
• Affords assistance with I.V. preparation and delivery.

Requirements

• No experience required.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician upon hire.

About the Role

Pharmacy operates Monday through Friday from 9am-8pm, Saturday and Sunday from 9am-5pm. Weekly shifts are 9-5:30, 10-6:30, and 11:30-8; every third weekend. The schedule is shared among team members for delivering patient medications to a Script Center in Mt. Gretna, PA.
