Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications
• Maintains the drug inventory
• Maintains patient records
• Works only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist
• Contributes to the effective operation of the Pharmacy Department
• Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations
• Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict
• Performs all job duties or job tasks as assigned
• Follows and adheres to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency

Requirements

• High School diploma or the equivalent
• License in the State of Montana as Certified Pharmacy Technician, or current license as a Registered Intern with the Montana Board of Pharmacy
• Pharmacy technician experience preferred
