About the role
Performs customer service functions in the medical office setting. Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Handles a variety of people, stressful situations, and conflict. Performs all assigned job duties and tasks while adhering to all requirements, regulations, and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Complies with all Benefis Health System organization policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years medical office experience preferred
- Previous experience with health insurance and patient billing preferred
- Completion of medical terminology course required within 30 days of hire/transfer
- Completion of Clarivate Patient Access II Education Packet within 3 months of hire/transfer
Pay
Starting wage: $18.64/hour. Actual offered wage is based on applicable experience.
