Occupational Therapist, OT

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist, OT, for a part-time opportunity in Raleigh-Durham, serving adult and geriatric patients in senior living communities.

Responsibilities

• Perform outpatient therapy evaluations in designated senior living communities or group homes
• Develop and implement a plan of care for patients based on current research-based approaches
• Work closely with home health therapy partners to transition care from home health to outpatient services
• Educate clients, families, and caregivers on care plans to promote functional independence
• Utilize an outpatient EMR platform to document and deliver individualized treatment approaches

Qualifications

• A current North Carolina Occupational Therapist license
• Prior home care experience preferred, but not required
• Graduated from an accredited occupational therapy program
• One year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent computer skills, especially with electronic medical records (EMR)
