Occupational Therapist (OT), Outpatient

About the role

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team at McLeod Health Cheraw. This position offers a full-time schedule and is part of a diverse healthcare network with facilities nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Affords assessments of patient's ability to perform occupational skills.
• Designs and implements the appropriate plan of care, including treatment type and frequency.
• Utilizes appropriate modalities and documents patient progress.
• Maintains and modifies the treatment plan as necessary.
• Sets up and provides educational sessions for patients and their families/caregivers.
• Assists with patient discharge planning and treatment setting.
• Provides guidance on the selection and use of adaptive equipment and support programs.
• Supervises and delegates care to certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current State Licensure for Occupational Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
