Outpatient Neurology Specialist, Neuromuscular

About the role

Join Delaware’s largest employed ambulatory Neurology practice as a BE/BC Neurologist specializing in Neuromuscular Medicine. The position is based in Newark, DE, with potential rotations in Elkton, Maryland, Whitehall, or Wilmington, Delaware.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of 18 Board Certified Neurologists, 8 advanced practice providers, 7 clinical nurses, a full-time social worker, an embedded specialty pharmacy concierge and pharmacist, and an embedded psychologist.
• Perform EMGs at the Newark location with plans to recruit another EMG tech to perform EMGs at the Whitehall location.
• Participate in a comprehensive stroke center, neurocritical care unit, neuro-interventional surgical service, neurosurgery, and a large multi-subspecialty ambulatory practice.
• Offer blocked time to perform EMGs, Botox, blocks, and other injections.
• Enjoy 1:5 weekend call with no stroke call, advanced practice provider weekday coverage, and the opportunity to be involved in medical student and resident education.

Requirements

• Licensed in the State of Delaware and Maryland and meets credentialing requirements.
• Fellowship training in Neuromuscular Medicine or Movement Disorders Medicine preferred but not required.
• The ability to be licensed in the State of Delaware and Maryland and meet credentialing requirements.

• BE/BC in Neurology.
• Must have the ability to be licensed in the State of Delaware and Maryland and meet credentialing requirements.

Pay

Annual Compensation Range: $288,361.00 - $418,716.00

Schedule

No stroke call, 1:5 weekend call, and advanced practice provider weekday coverage.
