Outpatient Neurologist

About the role

The Neurology Division at Norwalk Hospital is part of a comprehensive neurosciences program that spans the hospital system and includes Neurosurgery, Interventional Neuroradiology, and rehabilitation. The position is based at an outpatient practice in Norwalk, Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a dynamic and growing Neurosciences program
• Collaborate with a team of neurohospitalists, interventional neuroradiologists, and rehabilitation specialists
• Provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders
• Contribute to teaching, research, and clinical trials
• Participate in emergency department coverage and telestroke support

Requirements

• Completed MD/DO degree from an accredited institution (ACGME or equivalent)
• Completed an accredited Neurology residency
• Subspecialty training in Neurology is desired but not required
• Board certified/eligible in Neurology
• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Connecticut

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient neurology is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for teaching and mentoring

$300,000 - $400,000 annually
