Outpatient Mental Health Therapist- (Fully Licensed)

About the Role

Ellie Mental Health of Rockwall, TX is hiring full-time Texas Licensed Professional Counselor Associates (LPC-A), Licensed Masters Social Workers (LMSW), and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Associates (LMFT-A) for our outpatient office in Rockwall, TX, part of the Dallas metro. Ideal candidates would have experience in dealing with trauma or PTSD. We are also looking for clinicians who work with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, and implement treatment plans, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy.
• Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community.
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
• Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol.
• For full-time status, clinicians must maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week.
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.
• Other duties as needed for your role.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
• Texas State clinical licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LP, etc.) or on track to obtain licensure in your designated field.
• Experience with completing Diagnostic Assessments (DAs), treatment plans, and clinical case notes.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
• Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner.
• Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base.
• Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus).
• Fully licensed clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels.

Pay

Salary: $82,000(+) per year W2, paid biweekly via direct deposit. Compensation depends on the number of clients seen weekly, with a minimum caseload starting at 30 clients per week and potentially going up to 40 clients per week.

Schedule

Full-time. You make your own schedule, typically Monday to Friday, 10 AM - 6 PM. Some later shifts from 11 AM - 7 PM might be needed. You can also work a 4-day work week as long as you maintain the minimum caseload of 30 patients per week.

Client Population

All ages from 2-99 years old. We see a wide variety of issues, and you can choose the population and conditions you wish to work with. Clients include private pay, sliding scale, major medical, and Medicare/Medicaid.

No-shows and late cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis, with a minimum 24-hour notice required for appointment cancellations.

Support and Systems

• On-site daily collaboration with the Clinical Director, who has an open-door policy.
• Meetings set as needed.
• EMR System: Valent, with paid training provided.
• Sessions: 53 minutes to 1 hour each, with clients coming on average weekly.
