Outpatient Lymphedema Therapist - Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapists
Job Summary
Physical and Occupational Therapy Department, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston MA. Experienced occupational or physical therapists needed for treatment of patients with lymphedema and lipedema at a large teaching hospital.
About the Role
As a member of the rehabilitation team, you would have opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration with MGH’s leading experts in lymphatic diseases and oncology. As a Lymphatic Education and Research Network Center of Excellence, we see patients with lymphedema affecting the breast, trunk, head and neck, genital, upper and/or lower extremity regions, and patients with lipedema. We have a growing lymphatic surgery practice across MGB. Ongoing mentorship will be provided to this candidate, including potential opportunities for research collaboration with the Lymphedema Research Program.
Qualifications
- Education: Master's Degree Occupational Therapy required. Minimum master’s degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy; MA licensed, Lymphedema Certification (135 hours).
- Licenses and Credentials: Occupational Therapist [State License] - required.
- Experience: 3-5 years experience in a residential/assisted living or skilled nursing facility, 3-5 years preferred.

- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required.
