Outpatient Licensed Therapist/Counselor

About the role

Freedom Behavioral of Monroe/West Monroe is seeking a therapist to work in their Outpatient Therapy Programs. The position requires working as an integral part of the social services program, ensuring compliance with legal, organizational, medical staff, and regulatory agency guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical supervision of individual, group and family sessions for patients as indicated in supervisor notes.
• Participates as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and assists in chart reviews for quality assurance.
• Works with the clinical department to perform assessments, clinical counseling groups, individual and family services as needed.
• Completes clinical documentation, discharge and after-care planning, and treatment team planning/participation.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Must possess an LPC, LCSW or LMSW, PLPC license in good standing with the State of Louisiana.
• Must be a (1) LPC in the State of Louisiana OR (2) must possess the following: LMSW.
• Preferred: Three (3) years of full-time experience in psychology.
• Excellent assertive communication skills, good writing and composition skills, and ability to organize and prioritize high-volume workload.
• Must be able to work under close supervision.
• Therapeutic Intervention/De-escalation education required.
• Must successfully complete CPR certification.
