Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Neurology

Inova Health – Neurology is looking for a dedicated Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team. This role will be a full‑time day position, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the RN.
• Maintains and reviews patient medical records, notes and physician orders while documenting all patient care activities in accordance with documentation standards.
• Participates on unit teams, work groups and/or committees.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Vocational / Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing
• License: Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Experience: 0 years of experience
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as an LPN or Medical Assistant
