About the role

The Clinic Nurse provides primary clinical support in outpatient settings, assisting providers with patient care, diagnostics, and procedures. They obtain patient histories, vital signs, and prepare patients for examinations, while ensuring a clean, sterile environment. The role involves collecting lab specimens, administering medications and vaccines, and assisting with diagnostic procedures. The nurse documents patient interactions, communicates with providers, and responds to patient questions to ensure efficient care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support diagnosis and treatment by providing direct clinical care and preparing patients for exams.
• Assist with minor surgical and diagnostic procedures.
• Prepare laboratory specimens and document medical data accurately.
• Administer medications and vaccines under provider supervision.
• Maintain aseptic conditions, set up examination rooms, and ensure readiness of supplies.
• Follow up on diagnostic tests to ensure completion and proper documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (Required).
• Ability to provide care across specific patient age ranges.
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
• Willingness to work in a team-oriented outpatient environment.
