Outpatient Hand Therapist, Per Diem

About the role

At HealthPartners Specialty Center 401 Building, we are seeking an Occupational Therapist with experience in Hand Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Work with an experienced team and partner closely with our Hand and Plastics and Orthopedics Team.
• Provide direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions.
• Use a variety of hand therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensure with the Minnesota State Department of Health as an Occupational Therapist; certification with the National Board of Certification of Occupational Therapy within 4 months of hire.
• CPR Certification (Basic Life Support).

Qualifications

• Experience in similar settings/diagnoses.
• Advanced certification and/or licensure to support position.
• Trauma experience.
• Passion with hand and upper extremity while working towards your certification in Hand Therapy.

• Strong clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
