Responsibilities
- Facilitate activities of daily living, community meetings, and engagement
- Carry out treatment plans and provide multi-faceted evidence-based group counseling
- Provide psychosocial interventions to teach skills for coping with urges, craving, impulsive behavior, and cognitive distortions in thinking, using motivational interviewing techniques
- Plan and facilitate interactions with patients within the program to build social, emotional, and behavioral functioning
- Prepare and maintain accurate and thorough case records
- Maintain relationships with patient referral agencies
- Complete utilization reviews in a timely manner to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree a plus
- Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) in good standing
- Minimum two years in a behavioral health/substance use disorder treatment program
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $20.48 - $30.67 hourly

Work Environment
This job operates in an indoor office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. Regularly required to sit, use hands to type, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch and lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
