MedStar Medical Group offers a rewarding career with a unique patient population in Baltimore. We are looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our Breast Surgery team. Our exceptional breast surgeons, as well as advanced practice providers, treat a wide range of patients with breast cancer as well as breast disease and patients at high risk for breast cancer. Using a multidisciplinary approach, we partner with colleagues from disciplines including medical oncology, radiation oncology, rehabilitation, and imaging as well as dietitians, and social work to develop highly individualized care plans that treat the whole patient. This approach provides patients with high-quality care that is unmatched in our service area.
Responsibilities
- Work with our surgeon to provide early diagnostic care, pre-op education, post-op care and long-term follow-up care to our Breast Surgery program.
- Support the surgeon in the outpatient setting, establishing their own clinic to see patients at high risk for breast cancer, as well as for post-op care and follow-up visits.
- Perform procedures in the office, such as aspirations and I&D.
- Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm excluding holidays or weekends. Meetings generally begin at 7:30 am, not more than once every two-three months.
Requirements
Breast surgery or breast health experience preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) license in good standing.
- Experience in breast surgery or breast health is preferred but not required.
- Strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay
Hiring range: USD $115,003.00 - USD $189,999.00 /Yr.
