Outpatient Breast Surgery Advanced Practice Provider - MedStar Franklin Square Hospital

We are looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our Breast Surgery team at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, Good Samaritan Hospital, and Belair Clinic. The role will involve working with our surgeon to provide early diagnostic care, pre-op education, post-op care, and long-term follow-up care to our Breast Surgery program. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, excluding holidays or weekends. There are some meetings that begin at 7:30 am – generally not more than once every two-three months.

Responsibilities

• Provide early diagnostic care, pre-op education, post-op care, and long-term follow-up care to patients with breast cancer and breast disease.
• Support the surgeon in the outpatient setting, establishing their own clinic to see patients at high risk for breast cancer, as well as for post-op care and follow-up visits.
• Perform procedures in the office, such as aspirations and I&D.

Requirements

Breast surgery or breast health experience preferred but not required. New grads are welcome to apply!

Qualifications

• Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) license in Maryland.
• Experience in breast surgery or breast health is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay

Hiring range: USD $115,003.00 - USD $189,999.00 /Yr.
