Outpatient Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Munson Healthcare’s Behavioral Health team is offering a part-time opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP; Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to provide assessment, treatment planning, psychiatric, substance use disorder services, and care coordination for patients in outpatient settings, which may include outpatient and partial hospital levels of care.
Responsibilities
- Works in collaboration with a Psychiatrist, Substance Use Disorder Medical Director, and Psychiatry Department Chief.
- Provides outpatient behavioral health treatment to adults including mental health, substance use disorders, and co-occurring services via in-person and tele-health services.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Nursing OR Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in Behavioral Health preferred
- Board eligible/certified to practice in the State of Michigan
- Psychiatric Mental Health Certification (PMHNP)
