Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Performs on-site screening clinical assessments to determine appropriate patient treatment plans of residents of client facilities by the completion of a comprehensive assessment form
• Functions independently to perform appropriate history and physical for complex acute, critical, and chronically ill perioperative patients
• Orders and reviews diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient’s age-specific needs
• Affords assistance with the provision of care in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations
• Maintains relationships with all appropriate contacts in facilities
• Edifies family members, clients, and prospective accounts regarding services and programs offered by Primary Vascular Care
• Affords assistance with the development and maintenance of physician relations, as assigned
• Completes weekly, monthly, and other reports, as assigned, in a timely and comprehensive manner

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program required
• Current NP License required
• BLS – Basic Life Support through American Heart Association required
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support through American Heart Association preferred
• Current Infection Control Certification required
• Board Certified/Board Eligible required
• Physical, Vaccines and Titers: PPD/TB, Hep B, MMR, Varicella required
• Covid and Flu Vaccine preferred
• 1 year of NP experience preferred
• Reliable transportation (personal vehicle) required
