About the Role
The Director of Outlets is responsible for overseeing all hotel-managed food and beverage outlets, including Copper & Steel Market, C&S Table, Steel Horse Cabana (Seasonal), In-Room Dining, and C&S Bar.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all outlet operations, both front and back of house
- Develop and manage budgets, concepts, and operational objectives, ensuring alignment with approved plans
- Implement and drive food and beverage sales and marketing initiatives
- Lead the recruitment, training, development, and performance management of team members
- Oversee payroll, forecasting, reporting, inventory, and budgeting processes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless and efficient guest service
- Address and resolve guest concerns to maintain high levels of satisfaction and quality
- Drive initiatives to enhance both guest and employee engagement
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all food and beverage offerings
- Maintain and enforce Hyatt service standards and operational procedures
- Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure compliance with health regulations and Hyatt corporate standards
- Coach and mentor team members to uphold Hyatt’s service culture and expectations
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people
- 4 years or more of progressive hotel F&B management experience (preferably with Hyatt)
- Service-oriented style with professional presentation skills
- Proven leadership skills
- Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset
- Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high-volume concept, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service, and ability to improve the bottom line
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
- Experience in implementing new food & beverage concepts
