Taking guests’ orders

• Runs food.
• Handles cash & other forms of payment.
• Performs proficient sales transactions using a point-of-sale system.
• Checks I.D.s for guests who appear to be under 30 years old.
• Demonstrates responsible alcohol service.
• Demonstrates impeccable product knowledge.
• Suggests products using proven techniques.
• Answers questions accurately and politely.
• Satisfies any/all needs of guests, regularly double checking back with guests throughout their experience.
• Maintains a clean & organized station, including pre-bussing & table maintenance.
• Performs opening, closing & side duties, such as setting up/breaking down station, refilling condiments, cleaning ashtrays, etc.
• Demonstrates knowledge of all table/station numbers.
• Directs guests to areas & restrooms.
• Creates memorable experiences.
• Entertains guests to create “Raving Fans.”

Experience, Education, And Certifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Fulfills all food safety & sanitation procedures.
• In some U.S. states, a food safety certification program is required to be completed before serving food or alcohol, which may include obtaining a food handlers card.
