Outlet Runner

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for the successful opening and closing of assigned golf food outlet stations. The Outlet runner will assist golf staff and Outlet Attendants in keeping stations neat, organized and stocked while creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

Responsibilities

• Open and close all golf food outlets daily.
• Keep all outlet stations neat, organized and well stocked.
• Store outlet food properly and according to food safety guidelines.
• Put away outlet food and beverage deliveries.
• Maintain stock levels at the sales office and fitness areas.
• Assist golf staff and outlet attendants during busy daily periods.
• Take food or beverage orders on course to relay to kitchen when necessary.
• Track specified food items taken from the kitchen on weekly Outlet Tracking Sheets.
• Communicate inventory needs when par levels are low.
• Greet members formally by using their surname.
• Perform simple food prep tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous hospitality resort experience preferred.
• Organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Key attention to detail.
• Ability to anticipate and recognize members’ needs and preferences.

• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
• Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.

Pay

The Company’s good faith estimate of the hourly rate it expects to pay for this role is $20-$23 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
