Responsibilities
- Welcome and thank guests
- Answer questions accurately and politely
- Maintain a clean and organized waiting area
- Answer the phone
- Direct guests to areas & restrooms
- Assist servers, bussers and managers
- Perform opening, closing & side duties – cleaning glass, polishing brass, sweeping & vacuuming the floor, wiping menus, restroom maintenance, etc.
- Assure the complete satisfaction of each and every guest
- Create memorable experiences
- Entertain guests to create “Raving fans”
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Attention to detail
- Physical stamina for standing and moving throughout the day
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and procedures
